Description

Description

DURAN™ spherical ground joints according to DIN 12244 and 12264 are used to produce flexible connections of up to 15° - depending on the size of the ground joint. From an angle > 5°, a reduction in tightness must be expected. The nominal size is composed of the nominal diameter of the spherical ground joint and, if applicable, the clear width of the pipe diameter. Ground joints with ground grease or PTFE sleeves should always be used. Ball joint clamps with locking screw are the perfect addition to secure the ball joint.

  • According to DIN 12244 and 12264
  • Flexible connections of up to 15° can be realised depending on the size of the cut (angle ≥ tightness reduced)
  • Better detachability due to greater flexibility of the ground joint
  • The nominal size describes the nominal diameter of the spherical ground joint.
  • Not self-supporting
  • Glass articles for further processing
