PL BioScience ELAREM™ Perform-FD, Human Platelet Lysate, Fibrinogen-depleted, No Heparin Required
ELAREM™ Perform-FD is a fibrinogen-depleted human Platelet Lysate of US origin. As a cell culture supplement, it supports in vitro expansion of various primary cells and cell lines. Due to the fibrinogen-depletion process, ELAREM Perform-FD does not require anticoagulant addition.

Description
- Xeno-Free: The xeno-free cell culture supplement is obtained from transfusion-approved platelets obtained at licensed blood centres.
- No Heparin Addition Required: Since fibrinogens are depleted during manufacture, coagulation of the complete medium is inhibited– application workflows are simplified. This eliminates the need to add an anticoagulant with ELAREM™ Perform-FD. Traces of a xeno-free anticoagulant may be present in the Human Platelet Lysate.
- US Origin: ELAREM™ Perform-FD is a fibrinogen-depleted Human Platelet Lysate of US origin supporting in vitro expansion of various primary cells and cell lines.
- Improved Cell Performance: Human Platelet Lysate contains abundant growth factors and cytokines derived from human platelets. Those nutrients have been shown to stimulate cellular proliferation and maintain phenotype and differentiation potential of various cells.
- Reproducible Results: Each batch of ELAREM™ Perform is produced from large pools of transfusion-approved platelet units to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and enable reproducible conditions. Grade & GMP GradeB
- From Research to Clinical Development: ELAREM™ Perform meets the requirements of academic and industrial cell expansion and assures an easy transition of research results into clinical applications.
- The product contains coagulation factors. To inhibit coagulation of the complete cell culture medium, it is recommended to add an anticoagulant, e.g. heparin, to the cell culture medium.
- Intended Use: ELAREM™ Perform is for in vitro and manufacturing use only. The product is not intended for direct therapeutic use. For safety precautions, please see appropriate Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
