- The ''power on'' and ''heater on'' lights indicate if the unit is on.
- The 36101-series heating mantles with stainless steel (SS) liner over the heating element offer protection against spills and make cleaning easier.
- The 36104-series heating mantles include a safety earth (ground) screen to provide operator safety.
- All mantles (except 5000 mL models) feature a single support rod clamp that accepts a 1/2 in. rod.
