The use of SPE sample preparation can significantly enhance the robustness and reliability of many biological, pharmaceutical, forensic and environmental applications.

Thermo Scientific™ HyperSep™ SAX Plates feature a strong anion exchange sorbent for extraction of weak acids. Typical applications include:

  • Isolation of anionic proteins
  • Removal of acidic food pigments
  • Isolation of phenolic compounds
  • Nucleic acids, nucleotides and surfactants

HyperSep SAX Strong Anion Exchanger SPE 96-Well Plates and Individual Wells are ideally suited for the extraction of carboxylic and other weak acids. The chemistry extracts negatively charged compounds from both aqueous and nonaqueous solutions.
  • Amine group masks the effect of the carbon chain of the functional group
  • Selectivity can be tuned by choice of buffer

HyperSep SPE Cartridges and Plates

Thermo Scientific™ HyperSep™ solid phase extraction cartridges offer reproducible, reliable sample preparation in a traditional format. Available in a wide range of chemistries and bed weights, the cartridges are ideal for large samples and conform to industry standard configurations, allowing efficient routine processing by vacuum, by positive pressure or centrifugation.

The Thermo Scientific™ HyperSep-96™ system incorporates traditional solid phase extraction sorbents into 96-well plate format providing fast analysis without sacrificing accuracy or reproducibility. The innovative design of HyperSep-96 well plates provides flexibility for both method development and scale adjustment to 96-well without method revalidation. Well plates are customizable, allowing any arrangement of wells with differing sorbent chemistries for simultaneous processing. HyperSep-96 products are either available in packs of 100 individual wells or in pre-assembled plates.
