N-2 Supplement is a chemically defined, serum-free supplement based on Bottenstein’s N-1 formulation. N-2 Supplement is intended for use with Neurobasal™ media.

N-2 Supplement is recommended for growth and expression of neuroblastomas as well as post-mitotic neurons in primary cultures from both the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and the central nervous system (CNS). N-2 Supplement can be used as a substitute for Bottenstein’s N-1 formulation. N-2 Supplement is provided as a 100X concentrate.

N-2 Supplement may be used with Neurobasal™ media supplemented with growth factors such as bFGF and EGF or used with DMEM.
