Description
Potassium bromate is produced when bromine is passed through a hot solution of potassium hydroxide. This solution is prepared by mixing 5.5670g of potassium bromate primary standard with water and diluting it to 1L. This yields a 0.1M solution with about 5.511g/L KBrO3.
