Rhodizonic acid disodium salt, 98%, Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description
Determining sulfate radical by barium chloride titration with rhodizonic acid disodium salt test paper as indicator has been established. Staining of thin sections for quick identification of quartz, potash feldspar and plagioclase is usually done with sodium hexanitrocobaltate (III) and rhodizonic acid disodium salt. N-allyl-N?-(sodium p-phenyl-sulfonate)thiourea is used for eliminating the interference of Ag +?Au 3+?Hg 2+in the identification of Sr 2+ using Rhodizonic acid disodium salt.
This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
