These kits were designed to remove the challenges often associated the process of biomarker quantitation by providing a simple and easy capture-digestion workflow that takes only hours instead of overnight. The SMART Digest IA Protein G Kits provide targeted purification of immunoglobulins by utilizing the strong affinity for binding to the Fab and Fc portions of the molecule.

Solving the Challenges of Low-level Quantitation in Complex Matrices

The need to identify low-level biomarkers is forcing the analytical community to deal with extremely high levels of analyte and sample complexity, which makes quantitation challenging.

As these proteins are often present at low levels in complex biological matrices, an immunoaffinity capture step is typically employed to purify the sample and increase sensitivity.
