Description
Sodium iodate is used in animal feed, food industry. It is utilized in the manufacture of disinfectants, antiseptics and deodorants. It acts as a significant part in the oxidation of aromatic, aliphatic, and alicyclic thiols. Potassium tetrahydroborate and sodium iodate in acidic aqueous solution react with cadmium to generate chemical vapor, which is useful for atomic fluorescence spectrometry application.
