Description
The BD CPT™ (Cell Preparation Tube) system provides a simple, standardized method for the isolation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) from whole blood. In a single process, up to 15 million PBMCs can be isolated within 20 minutes.
- Improved sample preparation consistency and reproducibility compared to manual gradient separations
- Faster separations because there is no need to prepare gradients or manipulate the sample
- Safe isolation of cells with reduced risk of contamination due to the enclosed, sterile tube
Vacutainer™ CPT™ features:
- Glass molecular diagnostics tubes with see-thru label for easy content viewing
- Conventional closures are color-coded to easily identify anticoagulant used
- Density gradient polymer gel with either sodium citrate or sodium heparin anticoagulant
- Blood draw capacity is 4 or 8mL (4mL tube available in sodium citrate only)
- Tube is CE marked for in vitro diagnostic use
- Centrifuging conditions: 1500–1800 g for 15 minutes at 18–25°C
